elcome Back And Week Check
SPEAKER_00Hello, hello, hello. Welcome, people, welcome people. Welcome back to another episode of GP After Dark. I am your host, Natosia King, and I currently have with me doing numbers and Ziggy Ziggy. Listen.
SPEAKER_01Good evening, people.
SPEAKER_00I can't hear you. Ziggy, what's going on? Why are you all alone?
SPEAKER_01Testing, testing. I sound alone.
SPEAKER_00Alrighty. You should be all great. Yeah, so we got our peoples with us. And you know, last episode we were ending season one. So we are currently in season two. So we're about to get it, get uh real, real. And I ain't gonna say not as real as it's been, but definitely it's gonna even get realer with the realest. So, you know, welcome back. How you doing? I hope everyone has had fun. I hope your week has been phenomenal. Let's talk about our weeks, you guys. This episode, we just gonna call it it is what it is.
SPEAKER_01It is what it is, and it is what it's gonna be.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01How was your week, Ziggy? It was good, it was great. Can't complain. Blessed here. Pretty good for the most part, though. Had a pretty very good week.
SPEAKER_00Okay, anything exciting happened?
SPEAKER_01Um, no, not really. Just every day, same thing. Just watching my baby grow up every day and seeing new stuff with him. Basically.
SPEAKER_00He four months, she said, watching him grow up this whole week, y'all.
SPEAKER_01But hey, they do change every day. Yes, they be doing new stuff every day. Cause now he's holding his bottle by herself all the way. So it's like he wasn't just doing that last week.
SPEAKER_00It is what it is. It is what it is. That is wonderful. Kisses and hugs. What's going on with you doing numbers? How's your week going so far?
SPEAKER_02Oh, my week is uh relaxing right now. Trying to take it all in. I had a big weekend. Just got back into town. Did the Arizona thing with the whole city? A lot of people flew out there. It was real nice. Uh kind of overwhelming though. I didn't expect to see so many Milwaukee people. But uh it all turned off for the good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, real late.
SPEAKER_02It was live.
SPEAKER_00It was live?
SPEAKER_02It was live.
SPEAKER_00Alrighty, so that's why you like to uh I gotta be calm. It took you a few days, huh? Yeah, I seen a lot of a lot of clippings of that. Alrighty. Well, my week so far has definitely been, you know, a little smooth. It it starts off a little rocky, you know. It is what it is. Little couple things, just little hurdles in a row, but nothing that a boss can't fix. So it is what it is. So, you know, you just make something small, you make something bad, and you turn it all good. Because at the end of the day, we we we we trash the negative and we move forward on the positive. So on that note, it is what it is on that one. So definitely blessed to just see a wake up every single day. So that's what I always look forward to, anyways, is just knowing that I'm waking up daily and um turn on my Joel. I got my pew with me, you guys. I probably paid to play something, but this wasn't one of my little daily inspirations. I wanted to play for today. I have some really cool ones.
rizona Recap And Milwaukee Vibes
SPEAKER_00But, anyways, let's talk about this Arizona. Yes.
SPEAKER_02Let's get into it.
SPEAKER_01What was your favorite event out there that you that you did?
SPEAKER_02Um I would have to say the pool party. The pool party. The pool party.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that looks like you seen um Alexis. It was Alexis guy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, she she was pretty, yeah. And she was cool, you know, chilling. She ain't really mingle with everybody, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_00But it is Kovic now, so you know she probably would have had a good time, but at the end of the day, you know, people still gotta play it safe. She probably has some other things to do. Now, was she an invited guest or was she just there?
SPEAKER_02She was, yeah, like a paid hostess. Okay. I think she wanted to get in mode a little bit more, but we was like at a uh what you call it, like uh some type of amusement park. Okay. So they ain't sell alcohol or nothing. She wanted to get in moe. She like we're in on bottles at. But uh, I mean, it was a couple people that came out of nowhere with some stuff like some Moet, but I don't think she really was into Moet. I think she wanted something a little bit hard on the other hand. Yeah, probably some patron, some Hennessy.
SPEAKER_00I feel her, you know, she ain't want no headache. Sometimes, you know, Moet, it's bubbly and it's good. It comes through when you got a toast, but it will get you a little headache. But hey, you still gotta pop it and do something, but you gotta pull out that little pocket shocker. And let me throw me a shot in. Cause when you get a little shot, and then you can take the Moet down at the end, you like, okay, let's go. Right. And it is what it is.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, other than that though, I mean, uh, it was definitely a good vibe out there. The weather was nice. Absolutely already. You know, beautiful. And then uh yeah, it was just the place to be. You know what I'm saying? Uh DJ and everything. The music was pretty good. You know what I'm saying? They played a lot of Milwaukee music out there, though.
SPEAKER_00Uh represented.
SPEAKER_02Definitely represented. So uh, like I said, it really wasn't no fights, none that I seen. Especially us being like at a big amusement park like that, and it's just like lifeguards and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_01Was it like Arizona, a lot of Arizona people there too? Couldn't tell. You couldn't tell so many people. Couldn't tell.
SPEAKER_00We just took the shit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we took it over for real, for real. I could definitely.
SPEAKER_00Well, that's what's up, Milwaukee. Thanks for coming through and thanks for showing out and showing up good.
SPEAKER_02For real.
SPEAKER_00That's that's what we want to hear. We want to hear when we go somewhere. You know, we don't want to act a fool in a crazy way. We want to show out to let them know where we're coming from. You know, they already think Milwaukee, like, ooh, you live in Milwaukee. You know, so don't put us on a map that way. Put us on a map for what we can come through. Because I know our people show out. They was looking good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, looking good.
SPEAKER_00They was pulling up, pulling up, everything was sold out.
SPEAKER_02Every lines everywhere.
SPEAKER_00Man, okay. You get a um nice chance to do some interviews with some Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh I interviewed a couple people, you know, asking them how they felt about the entire weekend and what was their uh highlights. So uh definitely could play a couple of those for y'all. Let's do that.
SPEAKER_00Who are some of your highlighted interviews? Ah. Do you got some X-ray? I wish we had our video. I want to see something at it. I want to see the behind the scenes.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yes, that's what I'm working on right now. Okay.
SPEAKER_00I want an in-scene little uh recording, and I want a behind the scenes uh interview. So give us one, yeah. I want to hear, I want to hear, we want to hear some of those. Some juicy.
SPEAKER_02Let's see.
SPEAKER_00So who you got for us? So you gotta, you know, introduce their name so we'll know who it is.
SPEAKER_02So I got uh Mr. 262. His name is Billy, he's from Racing.
SPEAKER_00Okay, give it up a racing. I gotta run it to him there. We got a business in Racing.
SPEAKER_02Doing his thing, and I'm gonna uh play a little piece from him just speaking out his highlights.
unknownWhat it do, boss?
SPEAKER_02Live in this AZ, man. How it feels, man.
SPEAKER_03What do you like for people tonight?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, tell us about the weekend. How is it, man? What do you think was one of the best uh events happening on the weekend? School party on the last city party was done crazy last night. So yeah, that was just a little couple questions I had.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I knew it was lit because the birds even know. Oh, I yeah. They was even representing that. That's not beautiful. Okay, give it up for our 262, man. Thanks for coming through.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. So yeah, I'm working on some video parts too, and uh, we're gonna get this YouTube cracking too for y'all so y'all can see some visuals on what's all going on around here and out of town. And let's see, let's see. Might have one more snippet. And who was that? Uh that was my guy Nick. Uh you know, he just just recapped that that was out there doing his thing. Right and clean and looking good, you know.
SPEAKER_00Alrighty, cool. That was up. So they're trying to get into a little bit more, huh, for the year.
SPEAKER_02Definitely. Definitely everybody looking for the next one.
SPEAKER_00Alrighty, well, that was it, you guys. Arizona and its finest. Milwaukee represented. We're gonna have a little bit more for you guys as well as when you're able to tune in to our YouTube channel. We will definitely be having some videos that will kind of feature some of them highlights. And if not, you can always go to Doing Numbers page where he had a lot of little clippings going live, and it was off the chain. So other yes, absolutely. So, what we looking forward to, you guys, is man. Let's talk.
t Is What It Is With People
SPEAKER_00What is it for you? You know, it is what it is.
SPEAKER_01What people like it is what it is. Like, you gotta learn how to if you can't control it, don't let it bother you. You know, it is what it is. You gotta just keep it moving and learn how to just maneuver, you know.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. You said you said a key point, you said people. People, man, people in general, it is what it is.
SPEAKER_01You gotta accept people for you, it's like you gotta just when when somebody is who they are and they show you, you gotta believe them.
SPEAKER_00You do.
SPEAKER_01And you can't take it no other way, you get what I'm saying? And then you just gotta be like, you know what? Don't get mad, don't get even, just it is what it is. You live your life, I live mine, and you just some people you gotta learn to love from a different distance.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. I totally agree. So, yeah, we we can't control people. The only thing we can true do is control ourselves, control the way we respond to the situation. So we can respond and get on your level, we can respond and get on a higher level. Or we can do like Michelle Obama when they go low, we go high. But at the end of the day, yeah, um people is definitely a trip. And um the authentic of individuals, that that's the thing that gets me is that we just not real anymore. You know, we have taken fake to the whole new next level. You know, I'm like, okay, well, maybe we're doing reality shows every day of our lives, you know. I'll be like, man, is you getting paid to be this fake? But no, we ain't even getting paid. I mean, I just don't understand something if it ain't giving me a paycheck. And if it ain't getting me to the next level in life, I I can't even put that energy into it. And that's what people do. You put so much energy into people where you you can't even understand what it looked like now.
SPEAKER_02They don't even care about being authentic as long as it look like it is what they try to do.
SPEAKER_00It's an illusion. Life is an ill illusion. Everything's a no standard what it looked like. It is social media. Absolutely. You know, it's it's the point where you know people care so much about what others think and they they worry about clout or how many likes they get.
SPEAKER_02Likes and views and followers. It's the new norm.
SPEAKER_00Man, it's the new norm. That's what definitely gets people going. It's like, dang, I be like, I don't care about these likes. I'm trying to figure out how my credits go run up. Man, I celebrate the other day, like, oh, I hit over that mark. Okay, that's that's what I'm trying to. That's the uh realness I'm looking for, you know, them next levels of developing. But you know, people, it is what it is. Yeah, if that's their way, that's their way.
SPEAKER_02But it's easier to get a like than it is to get your credit together. So that's why I decided to do that.
SPEAKER_00Do the you're right about that, and I guess this is just me on a whole total different level because I can understand it from a lot of different views too. Because one thing how I do is view is that when I utilize my social media page, it's only to view, it's only to post, you know, certain things I just want to expose and put out there. But what I have learned through the years is that if I'm looking for support, if I'm looking to advertise my business and things of that nature, that's not even a place I would want to put it at on my personal page because I can put out there, hey, support me. Um have dying, but I made it through, you know, come through, do this, and it won't have no likes. But I can post a nice little flick with these Gucci shoes on, my little swimsuit, my bundles going down, and my page was just off the chain. And I test that just to see like how that surfaced, you know. I will share, you know, a lot of my friends or associates or any Facebook person that's promoting something, you know, they business or what they advertising. And I'll look, you know, a month, you know, uh, not said a month, maybe a day or two. And be like, look to see, like, dang anybody else shared. Did someone comment to try to respond to kind of support? Nothing. So I'll be like, did it ever pop up? You know, I ain't that good with the technical on social media and everything. I still get help, but I just be like, wow, you know, and at the end of the day, that's where you think you're coming through. But let me get on there, I say I got some drama, or I'm gonna post something to say, you know, some BS. And negative, you're gonna be like, people like, what's going on? What happened? Exactly. And at the end of the day, I love memes, so I just post a meme, and I'm just gonna post it because I'll be like, ooh, that was real slick, or I really love how it looks. I got a uh a full clip of ready to be exposed, exploded, but it's depending on you know, just the mood of when you just want to, you know, put something on, and it's just too. I feel a lot of this type of stuff, and I'm like being in a little crazy world, I be so exposed around so much I see, and I'll be like, ooh, these people don't know. And I'm a ribbon, I'll be like, oh girl, you could you just don't know how I'll go there, you know what I'm saying? But it's just too, I just feel like yeah, so at the end of the day, yeah, poop people will have you, yeah, really, really confused. They'll they'll they'll push your buttons and definitely have you there.
ossip Fake Energy And Boundaries
SPEAKER_00And I just don't understand, and that'd be it is what it is, you know, and just like let's talk about like gossip, it'd be it is what it is, and it just be like, okay, everybody talk about everybody, you know, even if it's just the same as ooh, Zarana came over here, she didn't her hoodie, why was her hoodie hanging down like that? You know what I'm saying? So to me, if Zaranna wasn't present and I was saying it to you, doing numbers, it was like I just, you know, gossip about her sweater. So you like, dang, her sweater is looking, you know. So then if you was the person, you gonna be like, yeah, I heard you was over there, you know, and Negocia said your sweater was just hanging down like that, and she gonna be like, dang, what? You know, so at the end of the day, you gonna come back like, well, this is how it is, and I'm supposed to be like, Yeah, girl, this and that, but see, what it is, what it is, people they don't confront it like that, you know what I'm saying? They're gonna be quiet. Oh, it wasn't like that, you know. But see, me, I'm genuine, because I'm gonna be like, Can you do something about that sweater? Or I'm gonna be like, dude, when you just left, men doing numbers. I was like, girl, if you don't fix that, pull that that hoodie up or fix it or things of that nature. So that's what I said would change with people. And then when you put them on the platform in the spotlight, they they just they get shy, they get like a deer, they eyes get big, like you got, you know what I'm saying? Like, what happened? You know what I'm saying? Like, it is what it is now. So at the end of the day, I you you can't get mad. You just gonna we you just talk it out. It is what it is. So at the end of the day, let's just move on. But if you can't have the courage to stand up, then don't have the courage to throw it, throw up, and and put it out there. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Stand on what you say.
SPEAKER_01Be the be the messy start, be the one that's starting the mess and kicking up the mess, but then when it hit when it fall in your lap, you are like nothing to it.
SPEAKER_00You can't you can't even figure it out, but can't even say what you said. No, we can't do that. But you know, I'll give a shout-out for them, you know, because you know, people they try it, and at the end of the day, I call it it's a disease. So when it's a disease, you know, you gotta get cured if it's there is a cure for the hater ration, or is it a cure for you just being miserable and or or unhappy? And I just call it as it's soon too. You like you ain't happy with yourself. Because when you happy with yourself, yeah, you be like so at peace, you walking in clouds of everything. Exactly. You're gonna learn to develop that because that's a learning thing too. But you know, if it's a disease, I'd be like, this stuff is worse than a pandemic. True, like you can't you can't cure that sometimes because we we are grown. Yeah, so I know what we're left, what age I done reached. So if I'm dealing with someone that's on this age or above, and they can't clean that, some things you just can't fix, some things you can't heal, some things you just need to take it to the altar, and you just gotta let people be. So then you have to learn behaviors. When you learn behaviors, you learn how to deal with a person and how to move forward with them, how to choose to deal with it, just to be like, okay, I know what this individual is gonna give. So a lot of things it don't even upset you no more because it's expected. And when they do something different, you're gonna be like very surprised.
SPEAKER_01That's what it is, Shuda. Ain't nobody finna be sweating that I already know how you coming. It is what it is. You already know how you how how you know how you coming. I'm gonna just leave you at that.
SPEAKER_00I say we gotta fix it though. You know, it's just it's toxic. Yeah, toxic energy will drain the heck out of you.
SPEAKER_01But that's where love and from a distance come in place at because sometimes everybody don't know or understand that sometimes that they need to be fixed. You get what I'm saying? Right. And they don't know how to come to it and be like, dang, I really need to work on this, or I really need to work on that. But they can point out everybody else. Everybody else and what everybody else does.
SPEAKER_00They don't do that self-reflective. Yep. And when things happen in my life, and if it's something that even if I did or someone else did, that's one thing I like to reflect too, because people like you always just try to find, you know, an excuse for others and when they do this or do that to you. And it's not that, it's just a point like because I'll be like, I just can't believe it. And I'd be like, why? You know what I'm saying? So it's like, I'm just trying to let me reflect and see what I did wrong. You know, maybe I shouldn't have got my hair done, or maybe I shouldn't have, you know, did things in my life or had four kids, or maybe I just shouldn't, others wouldn't shouldn't like me, you know, because it'd be stupid. That's how I'm saying it gets me that stupid. It just be like people just they don't have reasons behind the actions they take, they just take them. And it just be like, for what? You doing it for free, bro. You you doing all that for free. And I'll be like, man, if we exercise that much energy into yourself, into your day-to-day, oh my God.
SPEAKER_02Facts.
SPEAKER_00Just imagine the goals you can accomplish, the people you can help, the things you can do in life if you exercise the energy in the right areas. Stop and some y'all taking up space. People taking up space, and we don't have people that done die. And to me, I was like, dang, they was just angels sent here on earth. And they were just some of the brightest, the most best, happiest people that would brought joy. And then you have these demons that's alive. Taking up space, taking dead people, taking up space in the air. And taking all my space. Don't come breathe my air. Don't breathe my air that God is putting out here for me. Get out my space. And right now, that's that's what it is. What it is that I'm clearing them paths. You know, we gotta learn to clear the path and clear the energy. If you a threat to me, you gotta get away from me. And a threat to me can be anything. It can be just I can't trust you. You fraud. You should you feel you harming me. And you ain't gotta, you know, harming me means harming me in several different ways. Financially, my health, safety, my peace, my peoples, my peace, first off, you know, my my peoples around me, don't, don't, don't do it. It's either you can jump on board, get on the winning team, get on the team with God, or hey, if it ain't up there, you ain't there and it ain't stuck. So it's gotta be up there. And that's how I'm looking at it. To be accessible to me, you gotta be up there. To have access, you gotta be up there. To have access, you have to be up there. Other than that, you have no access no more. Your code is gone. Nothing canceled, blank, period, exit, void it, erase, blank.
SPEAKER_01Control all delete, crashed, period.
SPEAKER_00And that's people. I we just can't control people. We just had to we gotta pray for them. Because at the end of the day, if we don't pray for them, they may not be praying for themselves. So we just gonna send a quick prayer up to those individuals that haven't found peace within themselves to definitely find peace within yourselves so you could be able to be peaceful to others and be happy. Because one thing you want to pray for for people is to be happy. Because when they find peace and when they get happy, you're not their issue anymore. But as long as they mad, they gonna be mad at you. They gonna be mad at you. Man, you want to see a person do good, you want to manage it.
SPEAKER_01They gonna try to drag you in in any type of way, form they can. They gonna try to drag you down in the misery. Wow. And that is like that's real. They will.
SPEAKER_00Right. That's why sometimes I isolate. I isolate, get away, I get far away. When I see things, oh, I I slide all the way back. Sometimes I just isolate to recharge. Because I gotta recharge. Sometimes you gotta recharge.
SPEAKER_01You don't react the wrong way. Absolutely. You know? So you don't react, so you don't let these people bother your piece.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_01That is part of reaction, is a part of how bothered your piece is.
SPEAKER_02But the only way you can control that is if you know yourself. And if you don't know yourself, then you just like subject to fall for anything.
SPEAKER_00So And we can't help you find yourself. Nah, I can give you options, I can interview you, I can help you with ideas, I can keep and continue encouraging you. But at the end of the day, it it takes you to be you to find you and do you. You know, if you don't want to stop, that's just like trying to get a person off drugs. If they don't want to stop, I mean, me crying for you, begging you to get help and get off or go seek rehab and things of that nature, it's not gonna do any justice for you because you don't want it. If I want you to be this I can take you to the water, but I can't make you drink it. If I want you to be this leader within a company or things of that nature, or you gotta want it. You know, I can't want it as bad as you. So you have to prove it. I don't have to prove it. You have to prove it. That's what you want. I want it for you, but at the end of the day, that's it's a big difference from that.
SPEAKER_01You know, so you can't really help nobody who ain't trying to help themselves. So it's like I can lead you to where I can lead you to the I can't lead you to the ladder, but I can't help you. I can't make you climb me. You get what I'm saying? Like I can't walk up that ladder for you, so you gotta walk up that ladder by yourself. You feel what I'm saying? I can walk up the ladder by myself, you gotta walk up the ladder by yourself. I I bought you here though to walk up here with me. You get what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_00Man, let's walk it. I'm gonna and I'ma hold your hand if you fall.
SPEAKER_01I'ma extend my hand.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna extend my hand and I'm gonna do whatever I can to pull you up there. But when I keep you up there, I can't keep pulling you back up. Yeah, come on now, give me some help. Yeah, we gotta help each other, and that's what we do because at the end of the day, it's not about who has what, who don't has it, who doing what, who's not doing it. It's about what people is doing together because it as a whole, you could do a whole lot more than one person can do alone. You're not, we're never doing anything alone. I ain't never running these businesses alone. I wouldn't be able to do it without a great team. I can't even, you know, be the superstar, you know, wife and mother without my family support, the outside support that's helping me, and also the kids and the husband doing their part to help support it. You know, I can't be an awesome friend without us all being awesome. I can't be, you know, a lot, you know. So it takes us to pull together and do what we gotta do. You know, don't be average, be awesome.
oals Priorities And Sacrifice
SPEAKER_00What else is about it is what it is, but living life, living life, having goals, having goals, definitely having goals. It is what it is, man. I can talk about goals all day long. I have we got an episode on goals, but man, that can be my true thing because that's like that's exciting to me. Goals is like man, goals is all exciting because you know when you you start off uh completing goals, setting them and completing them, it just takes you to a whole nother level and it gets you so anxious, eager, and you just be like, you know how you be out in the streets, you doing what you do, right? You knocking it down. So just imagine that same passion completing a goal, executing it, knocking it out. And you be like thinking, I didn't know I can do this. But then people look at goals with like the biggest, the hardest thing to complete. It's as hard as you want it to be because ain't nobody tell you doing numbers to go out there and complete a goal, like, man, this weekend when I go out there, it's true. I'm gonna land this deal, I'm gonna buy this house, drive the car through the the pool party, and uh have Alexis guy jump in with me. I'm gonna make and she's gonna have my baby. You know, ain't nobody tell you to do all that. Your goals can be just as small as saying. Next week, I need to make a payment arrangement to pay off my student loan and then make one payment. Your student loan may be $20,000 and you just you you just dying because $20,000 is a lot of money to owe someone, but you looking at it like I ain't gonna pay them. So you ignoring that $20,000 for years because of that amount, versus let me put a goal so I can put some things in place. I'm gonna start off with $50 a month. Why? Because today, $50 is reasonable for me. So let me get that going. And I did it, I set it up, I made my first $50 payment. That's a go. So now my next goal is when can I turn this $50 to $150 and start doing that? Because now I want to see this $20,000. I want this $20,000 to be $15,000 in the next six months. So I gotta take these six months, divide, you know, whatever it takes to make this work for me. So in six months, when you did that, I completed that goal. Now I'm happy. So now I gotta finish the remaining of the $15,000, set that up in a goal, and do what I gotta do. That's a goal. So that's the way you configure everything in your life because now I'm like, oh, I got this going, so now let's get to another level. Now I gotta get a goal on okay, I need to get some equipment or I need to open up another business. How I go about on doing this, let me map this out. Right, let me do that. So it is what it is. We make things as hard as it is, we gotta put in the work. Let's put in the work and get it going.
SPEAKER_01And you definitely will not be successful if you don't put in the work. You gotta put in the work. You can't be lazy. You can't think that being lazy is gonna get you to where you're trying to go. No if you have goals. Right. You gotta put in some type of hard work.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you do. You gotta put in blood, swing and tears, and sacrifice. Sacrifice takes a lot. You know, I pay attention to people all the time, and you like, oh, I can't do this, I can't do that. But yeah, you can do a lot, but you can start real small. It's about how we sacrificing to do it, you know. So, what are you gonna sacrifice this weekend so you can start that $50 goal of paying off that student credit? Okay, so I'm not gonna probably be able to get these bundles. Okay, I won't probably be able to pop that bottle of Moet this weekend. I probably can't go to the club. I probably can't go get a bag of stogie. Or I, you know, it's what you sacrifice. I can't go out to eat. I ain't going to Carson's this weekend. What you gonna put aside to move forward in life? It is what it is, people. Wake up. This is it's easy, it's simple. It's simple math, and we wanted to do it that way. Don't take it to textbooks, don't make it like an SAT, make it like you just beginner's course and you can max this out. Make it a priority, make it a priority. Got to make it a priority. Just like we make priorities. We know how to do a lot of things when we want to do them. So let's do completing these goals like it's one, too. So it is what
iggy Heads Out And We Continue
SPEAKER_00it is. But with that, hit us up on gpafterdark at gmail.com. If you want to hear more about goals, if you want to get consulted, I I love setting up goals for individuals and doing what they do.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00All righty, me and Ziggy finna leave on us. Yeah, I gotta get up out of here.
SPEAKER_01I gotta go get my little baby.
SPEAKER_00Man, we're gonna okay, wish you well, because it is what it is, and that's another situation that's living life right there. Priorities and you got a flash, but thank you. You know, we're gonna continue on for the the remaining of our episode and keep doing what we do.
SPEAKER_01Well, y'all do what it do, y'all do your and let them know what it is. All right, man. I'll catch y'all next time.
SPEAKER_00Peace out. Thank you. Thank you for joining us, joining us today. Man, it's me and you doing numbers.
SPEAKER_02Vibes.
SPEAKER_00I think doing numbers, it is what it is. What is doing numbers? Doing numbers is everything. Everything.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, you can do numbers in so many ways, you know what I'm saying? Everybody can do numbers. It's just like accomplishing goals, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02Handling business, you know what I'm saying? Having priorities and uh sticking to them, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_00Definitely sticking to them, you know. Don't give up, man. We we give up at the smallest point in our lives to where it's not that big. And I say, don't stop, don't quit, because you you'll look at it too, because some individuals give up because of support. Man, your biggest supporter is yourself.
SPEAKER_02True.
SPEAKER_00Do not depend on family, friends, no one or Facebook or Instagram, your friends on there to be your supporter. You are your biggest supporter, supporter. I'm sorry. So you support yourself to get to you, get to that next level.
SPEAKER_02Right. That's the only way. Man. Self-motivation.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. You gotta have self-motive motivation and be, you know, definitely have the courage to just go out there and throw it all in, you know. You you you just gotta throw it all in. Sometimes you, you know what, forget it. I'm just gonna do. And everything is time, so don't wake up tomorrow and think, oh, you you you're gonna start something today, and tomorrow you just on this whole new level, and your life is gonna change. You know, we think that about a lot. I know, I don't know. When I got married, I thought life I thought life was gonna change the next day. I'm like, I don't know why. Like, okay, I've been knowing this man already for about five years or so. Let me think, maybe longer. No, I'm five years before we got married. Was it 18, 19? No, I don't know. I can't remember. It's been a long time. It's been a long time. Let me think, because it's been like 21 years, 11 years married. So, oh, we known each other for 10 years before we got married. So I thought when I got married, life was gonna change, but no, it is what it is. It was different because I'm like, first off, I'm like, listen, I can't do this with you unless we like husband and wife, it's going too far. I think I'm doing a little bit too many things that has to do with that wife style versus the girlfriend. Because you graduating me from a girlfriend to a wife, so you need to put a ring on it. Uh hey, you need to sign these papers because uh if you want it to be, it is what it is. We gotta make this right. Because then, oh, I'm gonna go to the moon and back for you as being my my husband, but I can't do this for no boyfriend, you know. That little title
arriage Story And Commitment Readiness
SPEAKER_00ain't fitting too good with me right now. So I'm like, I'm thinking I'm getting married. And um, yeah, y'all, my marriage was like $49. I got married in jail. Hey, my audience, I didn't know my business, my audience was the visitors there, and I was just like, I was not happy. And I was like, I don't know why I thought I was gonna be happy, and then afterwards, I'm like, I had to go home alone. I'm like, oh my God. What I thought I really wanted on this end, it wasn't that. But at the end of the day, I said the most important thing because I wanted him. So it didn't matter about all that, but it still was just like, was I going into just this marriage of wanting to have the the marriage, the wedding of my dreams or what? But I'm like, I didn't. I just, you know, wanted this man, but at the end of the day, it was I was sad because at the end of the day, I'm like, I had you, but I still had you from a distance. I couldn't go home with you, I couldn't hug you, kiss you, nothing. No uh what they no trips afterwards, no honeymoons, anything. It was just like, dang, okay, so now I gotta get back at it and figure it all out. So that was just like one of those moments, and it was just like dang, you know. But you know, when he came home, those um reality, though those fantasies became realities. Man, those dreams came true. And you know me, I had a whole book of what you said you was gonna do when you come home. So don't play with me. Let's get to it. But um, after that, I just know that everything he said he was gonna live for, he definitely living for it.
SPEAKER_02That's what it meant.
SPEAKER_00So he gotta keep up the good work, and I salute him for that. It is what it is, it is what it is. Hashtag husband, hashtag you know what you need to do, hold it down, hold your wife down. Hashtag love back black love, hashtag we do us.
SPEAKER_04Wow.
SPEAKER_00Hashtag starting off Jay-Z and Beyonce, hashtag ending Michelle and Barack. Hey.
SPEAKER_02Positive guys.
SPEAKER_00Yes, it is what it is.
SPEAKER_02So yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh tell us how you feel about young people getting married in this new generation.
SPEAKER_00How I feel about them doing it.
SPEAKER_02Well, in the new generation, as far as um, you think it's like a lot of people, you know, going that route, or is it just like everybody out here just going crazy?
SPEAKER_00Like I think people having fun. You know, everybody's having fun. I just say, you know, you young, there's a lot of opportunities. And it's a lot of things you can explore and experience. So I feel like when you ready, you know you're ready.
SPEAKER_02How do you know you're ready? Is this the thing?
SPEAKER_00I think it it's a feeling within yourself that you're ready to settle down and commit to that one person. It's not all about I'm being selfish and I don't want this man to have nobody else. It's about I'm I'm done. You know, I'm ready to kind of do this family thing and be settled. That's it. And trapped within this marriage, you know. So that's you just know when you're ready, like, damn, when you and also, you know, like you just know you can't even live without this person. I can't live without you. I just love you. I I just need you us to, I want us to build together and build our life, build our family, and build everything that we dream for. You know, not about, oh, because he's fine or she fine. But oh, he got money, or she doing this, or you know, for those purposes, it's the purposes of that match. And I'm not saying matching where you matching vibes to the I mean matching vibes like you guys have the same type of likes and stuff, you're the same energy or something like that, or you just got the same type of behaviors. You don't have to have that because you could be the opposite, you know. One thing, like me and my husband, we balance each other. I'm totally different from him. I'm more zero to a hundred. He come, I'm on this end, he on that end, you know what I'm saying? But when we come together, we just one. Test us. You will see. But young people, I just say, like, even with myself, I didn't do a lot of dating. You know, I had, you know, I had some dudes or whatever the case may be, but I felt like two. I met my husband when I was 18. So, you know, it was just like I didn't marry you at 18, I met you at 18, but I feel like dang, I still had a lot of more life to explore and dating and seeking to really know, like, okay, you the angle I want to go. You know, me dibbing and dabbing with other people and having friends and things of that nature. I mean, nobody never pulled me from. I'm like, dude, somebody, nobody can pull a chick from a guy in jail. That's terrible. And I done had some dope men, you know, in my life, but they was just like, they have problems within themselves. They had a had it all going on, and some people, I mean, I knew I was too good to be with a man in jail. Like, I was it was embarrassing at first. Like, I wouldn't tell no one, you know, but I go, I'm too good for this. But at the end of the day, I had men that had uh great careers, own businesses, and they was horrible. They was horrible as far as I'm not disrespectful, but they were fidelity. They was just infidelity, just cheaters, liars, you know. It just with the whole packet, it just didn't fix. It fit. It was just like, nah, you ain't even for me. And then I'll just be like, everything will just be like push me back more and more deeply in love with this person in jail. I'll be like, I can't be with you. I gotta move around, you know, to the point where I'm just like, nah, this is I hey God, what I need to do. You know, like, hey, I gotta talk to God. If this person is meant for me, let it be. But Lord, please, if someone opened the door for another opportunity, if that's it, let me know, you know. So at the end of the day, you see where I'm at. Hey, no one took me. So, you know, young people, you know, we we jump into things, but we need to make sure we jump into them for the right reasons. That's it. Don't jump into anything, and it it just creates disasters and you grow up and you'll understand. But if if you're ready, you know, go for it. You know, it's better than just being wild, catching some diseases, or going to jail, or just, you know, not understanding, you know, life purposes or things of that nature. So if you with that one, you know, make it happen. You know, women, I think we be more prepared and ready than men do. We do. We be ready. We would like, we want to get married at 25, have a family, get the house, the white picket fence. The man be like, Yeah, I'm with that too. You know, that's the speaking. But then the actions be different. They be like, Okay, I got Judy over here with that big booty. What? I got, you know, and it it's hard to break away. And man, it's hard to do it like a
SPEAKER_02Place that you would say you shouldn't entertain, you know, a person being maybe compatible? Like in the club, people say you never find love in the club.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you can find love where it is. It don't matter where you at. It don't matter where you at. Because you see me in a club, you I'm gonna be a totally different person than I am at work, podcast, at home. I'm gonna have because I'm gonna be having fun, different energy. But you, you know, at the end of the day, it don't matter where you meet the individual at.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00You know, it's just how y'all connection go.
SPEAKER_02That makes sense.
SPEAKER_00And making sure that connection is solid and it's real, you know, and that you but do homework.
ating Smart Family And Exes
SPEAKER_00We gotta do homework. We gotta do background. Because when I say background, you gotta do background checks and not just a criminal background check. Let me do a family history background check. Because before I be like, let me date you, take me around your family too. Wow. Because when you lock in with this man and you know you got to deal with him for the rest of those lives, and you gotta think about what's on the outer core family members, this and the same with yours, you know, you be like, oh my god, what I got myself into, you know, and sometimes that be a you know heart horrible thing too, because you have the mamas or the daddies that'll be like, oh, don't marry him or don't marry her. They not this and that. And one thing that does is that puts you to be like, Well, I really love him a lot now. Or, you know, so it's a lot of man, that can be a hard thing, you know. And dealing with, you know, people with uh kids' fathers and kids mothers, that'd be another issue too, because you can go through a lifetime of havoc dealing with baby mama. We're gonna call them baby mamas and baby daddies, if that's the case.
SPEAKER_02That's always a concern.
SPEAKER_00It it does because some don't let go, you know, or just want to make hell in your life for no reason. And then, you know, vice versa, they don't let go, you know, the men's can still be dibbing and dapping, so that's probably why these the women be, you know, mad and all still attached. Unleash them, let them go and let them go, or let her go, whatever the case it may be. So those are things you just definitely want to be looking into as well, too. We hey, I can be so deeply in love with you, but let me make sure I'm gonna survive through the time we married through this, because you can be happy with your spouse and significant other, but you can be miserable because of the family they're attached to. Because they can make your life hell. And then if the the woman or the man got such a great relationship with their family, you know, it's it's it's hard and it's deep. So it's like, dang, I love my mama to death and she hates my husband. And it's like I want my mama around, but is she gonna be rude or disrespectful? So things can get like that. So you definitely, you know, is you know, and it's not about what they think because it's who you love, but at the end of the day, it could just cause a lot of pain and distractions within the relationship. So, young people, if you want to go out there, you know, definitely do you. Find your love or be a player, ain't nothing wrong with that. And when you be a player, be now be honest. If you want to do you, just be honest. I'm gonna sell you. Hey, I used to tell people like, hey, you better come through because I got somebody, you know what I'm saying, on the other side, and he ain't ever going nowhere right now. Until you can break that, you you better break it well. So be real with people, you know. People don't be real, and then you want to be a player, then you're mad. Now, if I told you the truth, I'm like, nah, what are you mad for when you knew the deal in the beginning? Facts. So you know what you get into. Let people know what they're getting into because there has been a lot of deaths, you know, with relationships, men killing a woman or killing a man because of, you know, cheating and things of that nature. And cheating is big. And I say too, if you marry and you you gotta step out, step out your marriage. You know, I I be tired of hearing, oh, it was a mistake, or you know, with people, you know, it's not a mistake, it's a choice. We make choices, you know, we make choices and do what we want to do. I just say don't take no one through, you know, through that pain and through those situations. Do go do you. If you still feel like I gotta mingle, I need to mingle on the other side, or my man is just not the one for me no more. Go do you. Because evidently your man ain't making you happy no more, or your woman ain't making you happy no more. So therefore, you need to go find what's gonna make you happy. Or y'all need to con um y'all need to agree on an open marriage.
SPEAKER_02Wow.
SPEAKER_00Open the doors, levels, the doors of the church is now open.
SPEAKER_04Wow.
SPEAKER_00Take it to the author, y'all. Take it, don't take it from me. Hey, don't they listen? This is just my opinions. Hey, I'm not been stamping on nothing, but at the end of the day, I'm standing on mine. So, yeah, that can be creepy. Wow. What you thinking about getting married?
SPEAKER_02Uh, I don't know. I'm an OG now.
SPEAKER_00What they gotta do? What OG mean?
SPEAKER_02I'm up there and stuck there and age, so I think like after 40, I'm straight.
SPEAKER_00After 40 years straight? You think that? So then you think like it's over and done?
SPEAKER_02No. I don't know.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I might just be like, something's something wrong with you. Pour me some more wine, please. Wine me, please. Wine me. You know why? You saying that now, oh, you just having fun. That's why you're saying that you you're doing a lot. See, doing numbers is out here doing numbers. You know why? Because you know how I look at it? I look at it like it is fun, and you think you get to that age. But what about when you get to that age where your arthritis is stopping you from moving around doing numbers, and you gotta kind of be in the house a little bit more and you lonely. And you 60, 66, you all old and stribbled. So who finna come? Ain't nobody trying to meet you there. That's okay. So that's where you're gonna be just lonely enough. So you better lock it in. If this was something you want to do, you better go for it so you can get old and die with your wife. Die with your spouse at the end of the day, because man, you I just be looking at older people and I be like, damn, why they unhappier and they lonely, you know, and I'm like, man, you you better will it in before you get to that point because you will just grow old alone. You know, you can't keep calling Becky with the good hair to come through. She's gonna get tired of you because she's gonna find somebody 20 years younger.
SPEAKER_02Facts.
SPEAKER_00You know, so it's just man, you gotta don't think like that now. And then you can't think I'm finna friend zone somebody forever. Because people, listen, Mays be like, you better put a ring. Hey, we gotta make this real. You know, let's make it real.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00Man, listen, I I just be looking and I be like, and don't be trying to listen. Getting divorced at an older age is just the same way because you like, dang, I done got divorced at 40, 50, whatever, and now I gotta start over, you know, and be, you know, build that all back, that'd be rough. That'd be rough unless you just got divorced. It was just a horrible thing to be like, I did my time. I'm good. I'm good to be alone. Because one thing about it, to our our kids, they leave us. We thinking, oh, I got my kids. No, they leave you. They get their own families, what they supposed to do, and they live in their own life. And you know, some of us, we gotta live our lives. Parents are supposed to live their lives, the kids are supposed to live their lives. Until it's time to probably, you know, you get to you need to take care of them because they disabled or something like that. But at the end of the day, we got to live life, and that's another thing, is it is
iving Life Peace And Future Plans
SPEAKER_00what it is. It's living life. Do people understand what living life is all about? Because living life, it don't have to be out here in Arizona every weekend, going to the shindig. That ain't, you know, it that's part of living life because you're having fun and laughing, you know, living life is just exploring and doing the things you know, doing taking advantage of everything around you, the opportunities, waking up every day, setting, planning your day out, and just living it to the fullest. You know, and you know, being loving, finding happy wherever you can find it. And everybody has to, you know, learn how to find happy or or get into back into their happy space because we not always happy, you know, every day. And then to me, you you just you gotta find that. And when you start finding that peace, nothing just gonna interrupt it. It's like a shield that just you're not gonna allow it. You're gonna be like, damn, this person messed up my day today. I gotta start all over. I'm gonna start over. But um, just living your life and just, you know, having fun, doing the right thing out here, work, building legacies, and um doing you. It is what it is on those levels because you we definitely gotta, you know, live our lives out here. And and and it's so short. You know, life is so short that I'm living every day like it's the last. So I don't wanna live with no regrets of missing out on something that I can do today because I'm gonna wait till tomorrow.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00You know, so I just say stop putting things on a back burner. Whatever it is that you're seeking, whatever it is you're trying to accomplish, whatever it is you're trying to do, whatever it is you wanna go, whoever it is you wanna date, whoever it is you wanna marry, whatever you want to eat, whatever you want to go buy, live your life and just look at it like you know what? When you you're gonna think about me and say, Well, it is what it is, just go. So tonight I might be like, come on, babe. It is what it is.
SPEAKER_02It is what it is. Yeah, I could dig it.
SPEAKER_00So what's next for you?
SPEAKER_02Uh more visuals. Like I said, we're gonna get this YouTube together.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm ready for that. That's gonna be so dope. And I'm just ready. I'm ready to, you know, start um also uh seeing who we can definitely bring up on board, you know, to come out and you know, have some fun with us. So that's gonna be also awesome. And um get into our video space. I think um probably our next next couple episodes, we'll probably be prepared to kind of go on live so y'all can see how dope we are, how dope we look, and then you know, doing numbers gonna take it out on the streets and he's gonna get that extreme set life and you know on the streets, you know, on the streets, um, recordings and things of that nature, and we just trying to create something um out here for the community and taking it state to state to where we could just have fun and living life with it and um definitely letting people to just be themselves and just be able to open them up. You know, one thing I love about podcasts because it opens you up, it opens others up, and you you bring something out of someone, you be like, hey, you know, because anybody I take the ideal of podcast to, they be like, I don't want to do that, or it's life, or I don't want to be I can't do it. I'm like, Yes, you can. Because when you get on that mic, it's just all you. And then it's like it's all you because man, don't don't have no worries of just be you, be real. You know, at the end of the day, we can be a whole lot of individuals. I wear my different hats when it's supposed to. I'm gonna wear my hat in my professional setting where I got, you know, respect for myself and everything that's around me. But at the end of the day, I want to let my hair down. It's after five. I think I deserve my wine, I deserve my time. And I deserve to be like, I want to talk shit. You know what I'm saying? I want to put things out here and really just speak and just be open and just raw. You know what I'm saying? And just also let people understand like this is how authentic and raw you can be. And you know, I'm just giving my advice now. Don't be sitting here looking in textbooks trying to figure out, oh, what these people talking about, is this real or things like that? We just, you know, giving advice based upon our own experiences. So these are our life experience conversations and life experience things that just go on. And I know we have all experienced, we got years under our belt of everything that's going on. So sometimes it's like it's time to like put that out there. You know what I'm saying? Put that out there to the world because you hold things, you hold great stuff back, and it's like, man, put it out here, you know, and only the right people gonna gravitate to it. They gon' they gonna jump on or jump off, you know what I'm saying? Or they gonna uh they gonna hate. You know what I'm saying? Like, hey, you ain't gotta be a hater. You can come join GP after dark and let me go do this. Like, we open, you know what I'm saying? So it ain't even like, man, nothing like that, you know. But some people you gotta have access, you know. I'm becoming less accessible to those who don't earn it. You know, and that's how I'm changing my life because I'm just looking like I'm gonna value myself differently. You know, I'm gonna look at myself and put my own stuff on this pedestal to be like, yes, I know what I'm I know my worth. So until you know your worth, you know what it is. And I'm like, hmm, I don't think I'm all that, but I think I'm all that, only because of what you know you have achieved and what you're standing for in life. So it's just that, man, it's just that feel to just be like, hey, I'm I'm very humble. I'm humbly speaking, but I'm just letting people understand and recognize that it is this this is just life.
SPEAKER_02It is what it is.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it is what it is. So hey, I'm I'm not trying to knock out goals. I'm happy, trying to keep these kids happy, having fun, and you know, those around me and my loved ones, and ensuring that, you know, we connecting on different levels. So I give a shout-out to all my loved ones, my family my husband, my family, you know, my friends, you know, my team. So that's what I'm trying to build. I'm trying to build and keep a connection to where I don't have to, we don't talk every day, we don't see each other every day. But when we do, you'll be like, dang, y'all must have been together all week. Because that's how our vibe is gonna be. You know, it's gonna be just that solid where nobody can't come through, you know, having those type of connections. Like somebody see you doing numbers, they ain't gonna be able to come through and be like, oh, that nicky isn't that. You know, they can't break that, they can't break that. You know what I'm saying? Only we can break that. Don't we can't let nobody come in between, you know what I'm saying? What we done built, uh, what we done had this solid. You don't let people just come in that easily. Like, no, all access codes. We gotta start having people. Where's your all access uh badge?
SPEAKER_02For real. You know what I'm saying? For real, for real. It's the way it gotta be.
SPEAKER_00Yes. So definitely, um, I'm gonna be really, really excited when we can kind of really just sit down and put these things together to get that started and um going. And um I think that's gonna be great.
